A HUGE MONTH OF BARE KNUCKLE ACTION

August is STACKED with bare knuckle events across BKFC and BYB!

LT Nelson takes on Barrie Jones at BYB 30 on August 17th

After a slow month of July which saw just one event from BKFC and one event from BYB, they have chosen to repay bare knuckle fans with a crazy month of action in August! Here is information on what to expect from these wild 31 days.

August 3rd - BKFC 63

Up first on August 3rd, Britain Hart will defend her Strawweight title against Taylor Starling in a fight years in the making, once friends and training partners the two went their separate ways only to cross paths down the line for the ultimate prize of the 115-lb. division. Since both of them made the move, to 115 they are undefeated at a combined 4-0!

The card also features a legend of the game Sam Shewmaker in a rematch with JD Burns, fan favourite Zach Calmus faces Paul Shough, and undefeated knockout specialist Michael Larrimore looks to crack the Top 5 against tough-out Derrick Perez.

August 10th - BYB 29

Cub Hawkins sets out to stay perfect in his bare knuckle career and defend his BYB light heavyweight title in the process against Gregoris Cisneros. Cub is one of the brightest young stars in all of bare knuckle and his BYB record of 5-0 with five knockouts backs up that claim. But across the Mighty Trigon is a contender riding a hot streak of two straight first round finishes.

This card is stacked with talent including combat sports veteran Uly Diaz entering his the final fight of his legendary career, Robert Durna Jr.’s second bare knuckle fight, and a highly anticipated bout between two elite bare knucklers Robert Serna and Ryan Jett

August 10th - BKFC 64

The BKFC UK Welterweight title is on the line in the main event of BKFC 64. The Coventry, England crowd will see UK bare knucklers Connor Tierney and Johnny Graham square off for the vacant title. Tierney comes into this fight winning six of his last seven bare knuckle contests while Johnny Graham sits perfect at 2-0. The co-main event features Dawid Oksar (3-1, 2 KO’s) and Rob Boardman (5-0, 4 KO’s) both coming off KO wins in their last outings.

August 16th - BKFC Fight Night Kansas City

Former world champion Elvin Brito will look to cement his shot at current champion Austin Trout with a win over former world title challenger Jake Lindsey. While Brito has held gold before, that was in 2022, and while he returned in style with a smashing of Ja’far Fortt righting the ship and getting him back on track to a world title. Lindsey has been out of action since his unsuccessful bid at the BKFC welterweight title, but with the new champion Trout in everyone’s sights we could see a reinvigorated Lindsey face a motivated and hungry Brito!

In the co-main event, two fighters who are can’t-miss action Zeb Vincent and Doug Coltrane will battle it out inside the squared circle. These two are always a threat to close the show early with both men winning by knockout in their last two wins.

August 17th - BYB 30

The betting favourite for Fight of the Year goes down in Cardiff, Wales when BYB two-division champion Lorawnt-T Nelson faces off with the near consensus greatest bare knuckler of the modern era Barrie Jones. The historic clash is sure to rock the bare knuckle world down to its core when we see either LT Nelson tarnish the perfect and storied record of Jones and make his case for the number 1 pound for pound fighter in the world. Or we see the resounding return of the Welsh Wrecking Machine, and see him reclaim a world title in resounding fashion. DO NOT MISS BYB 30!!!

August 31st - BKFC Prospect Series Canada

Finishing out the stacked month of August is BKFC’s second trip to Edmonton Alberta, Canada when Drew Stuve faces Sonny Smith in the main event that is sure to get a rise out of the lively Canadian crowd. The co-main event will see the return of Hasan Al-Hanim. The last time we saw him, he scored a highlight reel knockout that earned him this bump in placement on the card.
