(c) Julio Tanori (3-0, 2 KO) vs. Mark Irwin (3-1, 2 KO) - BYB Police Gazette World Diamond Lightweight title fight
Our main event will see Lightweight champion Julio Tanori and former champion Mark Irwin renew acquaintances. These two put on a Fight of the Year last time out in December with Tanori dethroning the then champ Irwin. Using history as the best indicator of the future, fans should be in for another knock ‘em down, drag ‘em out affair which will see both men pushed to the very brink.
Corey Erdman: Tanori DEC
I’m not convinced that Mark Irwin is human based on what we saw him endure in the first fight. However, even inhumanly tough fighters can’t overcome Father Time, and Tanori’s youthful energy and volume should be enough to outwork him over the distance. This might be another Fight of the Year.
Adam Hunt: Irwin KO
This will be a battle, but the experience of Irwin will shine through in the rematch and while both guys had their moments upon rewatching the first fight, you could argue Irwin's “high points” outweighed Tanori’s. I believe having nine months to reflect on the loss, Irwin will pounce on any opportunity to get the champion out of there.
Cole Whiston: Tanori Dec
The one who wins the first usually wins the second. With how much punishment these two took in the first one, I have to favour the younger fighter which is Tanori. I’m also assuming he doesn’t want to make it as difficult as it was last time so I’m predicting a better boxing performance from him where he stays away from the inside and wins on the cards.
Jag Kang: Irwin KO
Although topping their last meeting is not likely, this bout is sure to entertain, even if Tanori and Irwin reel it back a bit. However, given how close the last bout was, I have to side with the heavier puncher in Irwin. He’s more explosive and is entering the bout as the challenger of his old belt. The Shark won’t be short on motivation.

Paty Juarez (5-1, 2 KO) vs. Khortni Kamyron (1-1-1) - Vacant BYB Police Gazette World Diamond Super Lightweight title fight
Our co-main event will see Lightweight champion Paty Juarez make her second appearance at super lightweight , but this time a vacant title will be on the line. Across from her will stand the scrappy Khortni Kamyron. While she has just one win in her bare knuckle career and in her debut at that, this is her first fight in BYB, so the mighty trigon could be the perfect fit for “Headhunter”, perhaps even having her championship aspirations realized.
Corey Erdman: Juarez TKO
Paty is too seasoned and too diverse offensively for Kamyron to handle in all likelihood. Kamyron has turned in good showings against the likes of Crystal Pittman, but Juarez is just on another level, a true pound-for-pound bare knuckle talent who could wind up being a legend in this sport the way her sister is in gloved boxing.
Adam Hunt: Juarez Dec
Look, let's not kid ourselves here, this is Juarez’s fight to lose. 5-1 and a multi-time world champion vs a 1-1-1 Kamryon making her promotional debut. That being said, this won't be a complete walk in the park for Juarez and I expect at least one “oh s&%#” moment from Kamyron, but that won’t be enough to take down the grizzled veteran that is Juarez.
Jag Kang: Juarez TKO
This has the makings of a Paty Juarez showcase. I’m always reluctant to write off a bare knuckler but the discrepancy in experience is far too significant. In addition, Paty has spent the entirety of her career in the trigon, an incredibly unforgiving space. For the newcomer in Kamyron, the lack of experience, change of scenery, and skill gap will be too much to overcome.
Cole Whiston: Juarez TKO
This one feels pretty self explanatory. And I’m not one to try and overthink things, Paty is supposed to stop her so, I’m predicting she will.
