On May 4th, BKB is set to rock The Indigo at O2 Arena with a stacked card full of bare knuckle action. But the main event of Marko Martinjak (8-2, 8 KO’s) and Kevin Greenwood (2-0-1, 2 KO’s) is what draws BK Nation’s eyes this time around. Here are our predictions, and don't forget to drop your own in the comments!

Corey Erdman: Martinjak by decision.

A nice clash of styles between a fighter in Greenwood who likes to stay tight and one in Martinjak who is most dangerous when he’s fighting long and wild. It’s also another example of two fighters enjoying a total career rebirth after being tossed into the opponent bin in gloved boxing. Martinjak seems to have a little more offensive creativity and a serious killer instinct in the ring. If he doesn’t succumb to Greenwood’s desire to slow the pace down and make it a conventional boxing match without gloves, he has a path to victory.

Adam Hunt: Matinjak KO

“The Emperor” vs “The Green Machine” While it's easy to pile on and bet on the favourite, where there’s smoke there’s fire. Bare knuckle is something you have to get used to, and while Greenwood has had success through his three fights, this is The Emperor’s game. 8-2 through 10 fights will all of his wins by way of knockout, the bare knuckle experience will pay off in spades. I believe Martinjak will keep his perfect stoppage streak intact.

Cole Whiston: Martinjak KO

Marko is very experienced in bare knuckle and clearly comfortable considering he's had 10 fights and stopped eight of them. He's a two organization champion having already won a BKB title back in 2022 and coming off a BYB championship win.  Marko stops him early.

Jag Kang: Martinjak KO

Don’t have to overthink this one. Martinjak enters the bout with a clear advantage in experience over Greenwood. He has twice as many knockouts as Greenwood has fights. On top of that, he’s the younger fighter, which isn’t always an advantage. But given the brutal nature of bare knuckle, perhaps Martinjak’s youth can aid him here. Does Greenwood have a puncher’s chance? Sure. But Martinjak’s 100 percent knockout ratio makes him a tough guy to bet against. Martinjak via 2nd rd KO.

The boys are unanimous, but that just leaves the door open for Greenwood to make us all look foolish!
