Three massive title fights take centre stage on this stacked weekend in combat sports.
October 12th is stacked with bare knuckle action, BKFC makes their much anticipated debut in Spain with a card stacked with talent. That includes three different world titles on the line, so once again BK Nation will don their Columbo Rain Jackets and see if we can tell what the future holds. Here are BK Nation's BKFC Spain Predictions.
Franco Tenaglia (3-0, 2 KO) vs Tony Soto (6-0, 3 KO): Vacant BKFC Lightweight title
Both men are undefeated under the BKFC banner, someone's “0” has got to go! Soto holds a lethal jab and a good sense of when to jump on his opponent and push for a finish. While Soto has more BKFC experience, Tenaglia has plenty of experience in bare knuckle outside of the squared circle. Tenaglia is always looking for the finish, seemingly with every punch he throws. He’s coming off the best win either of them have had when he beat James Lilley by majority decision earlier this year. Regardless of who wins, we’re going to have a fight!

(c) Austin Trout (2-0, 1 KO) vs. Rico Franco (9-2, 7 KO): BKFC Welterweight title
BKFC’s first professional boxer turned world champion, Austin Trout will defend his BKFC Welterweight title against one of the best bare knucklers of the modern era, Rico Franco. Franco was on the verge of being one of the best bare knuckles on the planet, working to a 6-0 record including a win over all time great Jimmy Sweeney. However after a medical issue forced him into a hiatus he would return a little too quickly and suffer two defeats back to back at the hands of Sweeney and current PFP #3 LT Nelson. However since joining the BKFC roster he’s gone 3-0 with three knockouts. Trout however has gone off without a hitch since turning to bare knuckle including his most recent win over Luis Palomino who was PFP #1 at the time.

(c) David Mundell (8-1, 6 KO) vs. Danny Christie (5-1, 4 KO): BKFC Middleweight title
BKFC Middleweight champion David Mundell has been out of action since November of 2023 when he took out Doug Coltrane in two rounds. Will ring rust have any effect? If it does, “Redneck” will be in tough because across the squared circle stands Danny Christie. The English scrapper has just one loss in bare knuckle and that came up at 185. Since dropping to middleweight Christie is undefeated including a dominant performance when he stopped David Round in an absolute beating. Two guys who hit ridiculously hard will result in a battle that may just steal the whole show!
