There were 11 fights on the night that would be its last for BKB. Only three of those bouts heard the final bell. That continues to set up a bright future for the new-look BYB Extreme roster. But let’s get into what went down last night.
In the main event, Bare Knuckle Nation was split on who would win the rematch between Scott McHugh and Aaron McCallum. History suggests the winner of the first meeting is more prepared for the second meeting and that was the case here. It was great action for five rounds before McHugh eventually put a stop to McCallum, proving the first fight was no fluke. On top of that he also became the new bantamweight world champion making him a two division titlist in BKB.
McHugh did a interview post fight where he admitted some interesting things. First, he said he might’ve broken his jaw and hand in the fight. Then he also stated he is moving to pro boxing, so it’s unclear if he will join the BYB roster. He did later say he might go back to BYB in 2026 but with the damage his hands have taken he wants to give the gloved boxing a go.
Here are the rest of the BKB 39 results.
