BKFC FIGHT NIGHT: PECHANGA RESULTS

You just never know what you're going to see at a BKFC event!

BKFC's Ruben Warr knocking out Robbie Peralta

Well, that was quick!

BKFC Fight Night: Penchanga got off to a quick start with a first round knockout from Mike Hansen in the opening bout and then the night finished even quicker when Ruben Warr (2-0) landed a two-punch combo six seconds into the main event, knocking out Robbie Peralta (3-2), and pulling off the upset! That was the third-fastest finish in BKFC history and certainly makes a statement to the rest of the lightweight division.

It's safe to say the sold-out crowd was treated to a great night of fights.

Below is the official BKFC press release summing up the entire night.

Temecula, CA (July 12, 2024) Bare Knuckle Fighting Championship (BKFC), The World’s Fastest Growing Combat Sports Promotion, left the sell-out crowd at BKFC Fight Night Pechanga screaming for more as the main event ended in six seconds with Ruben ‘Bad Boy’ Warr,   (2-0, 1 NC), of Louisville, KY scoring a show-stopping, two punch knockout of Robbie ‘Problems’ Peralta, (3-2), of Escondido, CA.

Dropping Peralta with a quick left-right combination to the head shortly after the opening bell sounded, the elated Warr was euphoric in victory. The six-second knockout is the third fastest finish in BKFC history.

“You can run but you can’t hide,” Warr told the packed Pechanga Resort Casino when asked for a statement to the rest of BKFC’s stacked lightweight division. “Line ‘em up, baby. I don’t care about the opponent. I sign my contract without looking at it. I don’t care. Let’s go.”

BKFC Fight Night Pechanga like all BKFC events, aired LIVE globally on The BKFC App. In Friday’s co-main event, Fernando ‘The Menifee Maniac’ Gonzalez upped his BKFC record to 1-1 with a hard-fought, unanimous decision victory over Rodney Thomas.

Debuting Pala, CA product Squire ‘Kupa King’ Redfern overcame a knockdown and an eye poke to stop Richard ‘The Big Bad Wolf’ Brooks of Los Angeles in the fifth round of their back-and-forth lightweight battle. The technical knockout victory was registered 53 seconds into the fifth round. Brooks is now 0-2 under the BKFC banner.
