One final time before the end of the year!
BKFC puts on one final event to close out the year with a card stacked with talent. The BK Nation staff is once again trying to predict the future with the final round of Bare Knuckle predictions!
Main Event: (c) Jared Warren (7-2-1, 5 KO) vs. Mike Richman (6-2, 6 KO) - BKFC Light Heavyweight Championship
Adam Hunt: Richman KO 4
The third time’s the charm for “The Marine”! Richman has only lost to the very best in the business, Lorenzo Hunt and David Mundell. With respect to the champ Jared Warren. I don't think he is at that level, and this is the most winnable matchup he’s had in a championship fight. Both guys are extremely skilled, but Richamn seems to have that X-factor when it comes to power. I think he gets it done in the later stage of the fight after investing in some body work in rounds one and two.
Jag Kang: Warren UD
Rarely does Jared Warren not stop one of his wins but I believe Mike Richman will force it to go the distance. There’s a chance this is his last shot at a title, at least for a while, which is why I think he’ll make it a close one. In addition, Richman’s losses have come to the very best of bare knuckle. Warren classifies as one of the best in his own right, but I’m not convinced he stops Richman here. However, his technical prowess will lead him to victory.
Cole Whiston: Jared Warren KO 3
The best thing about Mike Richman is that he can crack. The worst part is he just might not crack hard enough and he also gets cracked pretty often. With someone as experienced as Warren, I don’t think he will let himself make the mistake of getting hit clean by Richman and will eventually land clean shots of his own.
Co-Main Event: (c) Christine Ferea (9-1, 6 KO) vs. Christine Vicens (3-0, 2 KO) - BKFC Flyweight Championship
Cole Whiston: Christine Ferea KO 2
She’s the greatest female bare knuckle fighter ever coming off what she would consider an underwhelming decision win over Jade Masson-Wong. She’s going to be doing everything she can to make a statement in this one and hoping to remind everyone why she is the GWOAT.
Jag Kang: Ferea UD
The women's bare knuckle GOAT turned in probably her worst performance yet in her last bout against Jade Masson-Wong. But she’s the best for a reason and I believe she’ll bounce back in impressive fashion against a very game Christine Vicens. Her last fight should be motivation for a better performance, although age may be catching up.
Adam Hunt: Ferea UD
I think this will be Ferea’s hardest fight in a very long time. Ferea will be eager to prove she’s “still got it” after an uncharacteristically boring fight in her last bout with Jade Masson-Wong. Vicens always shows up in great condition and her physical strength won’t allow the champ to bully her around in there, meaning every exchange is important for both combatants, but that is where Ferea thrives. When the punches are flying no one can hang with the champ. Ferea after five hard fought rounds.
Leonardo Perdomo (5-0, 5 KO) vs. Levi Da Costa (2-2, 1 KO)
Jag Kang: Perdomo KO1
It’ll only be a matter of time before Perdomo fights for the title. Until then, it’ll be much of the same from “El Zambo”.
Cole Whiston: Leonardo Perdomo KO 1
The odds would favour this exact result for a reason. He’s done it all five times he’s entered the squared circle. Until proven otherwise there is no other result to take. Maybe when he gets a title shot. Maybe.
Adam Hunt: Leonardo Perdomo KO1
First round knockout.
