BRYCE HALL RETURNS FOR SECOND BKFC FIGHT

The social media sensation steps into the squared circle, again!

As we get closer and closer to the day, more and more fights are being announced for KnuckleMania V, set for January 25th in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. While the main event of Eddie Alvarez and Jeremy Stephens is already set and there are even more great matchups to announce in the coming weeks, BKFC lifted the curtain a little bit with an announcement this week. Bryce Hall, a Tik Tok and social media sensation, who has already picked up a win in the squared circle, will enter the fire once again.

Hall got his combat sports start with a boxing match against fellow social media celebrity Austin McBroom which he lost by TKO. After taking time away from fighting he would enter a bout with BKFC, however he wasn’t signing up to fight another celebrity, but an actual bare knuckler. “Cutman” Gee Perez who held a 3-0 record at the time (40 pounds lower than where this fight was mind you), would clash with Hall at BKFC 48. Hall would win the fight via. corner stoppage after an injury sustained by Perez didn’t allow him to continue. However before the injury occurred, Hall scored a knockdown in the first and was able to land some good shots in the clinch. The injury was obviously a major part of the fight, and Hall himself even admitted he likely wouldn’t have won if Perez didn’t get hurt, but that's all in the past now!

When he enters the squared circle on the 25th, across from him will stand the son of one of the most influential figures in bare knuckle fighting history. Kimbo Slice, real name Kevin Ferguson, gained a cult-like internet following through his unsanctioned backyard bare knuckle fight videos. He did eventually fight in MMA under the Bellator and UFC banner before his untimely death in 2016 at the age of 42, but was never able to compete in sanctioned bare knuckle.

However, on January 25th, a “slice” of Kimbo will be in the BKFC Squared circle when Kimbo Slice Jr. (real name Kevin Ferguson Jr.) enters as Bryce’s opponent. “Baby Slice” started his professional MMA run in Bellator, the same promotion his father fought in. To begin his career he earned a record of 3-1 with all wins coming by stoppage. Unfortunately he has fallen into a rough patch recently, dropping his last two MMA bouts before losing his lone professional boxing fight. Could returning to his father's roots result in a reinvigorated Slice Jr.?

Bryce Hall’s initial bout in BKFC gas amassed 8.6 Million views on the promotion’s YouTube page. One can only assume having him fight again with a name like Kimbo Slice alongside him, it will result in another “Viral Moment”.
