December 6th’s card will see two lightning-fast contenders take centre stage.
December 6th hosts the penultimate card of BKFC’s calendar year with BKFC 69: Atlanta. The main event will feature former world champion Keith “Rockstar” Richardson (4-1, 3 KO) attempting to re-enter the title picture when he takes on the undefeated knockout artist, Michael Larrimore (2-0, 2 KO).
Richardson is coming off of his lone defeat in bare knuckle when he was stopped by current champion Alberto Blas. Coming into that bout, Richardson was undefeated and riding a four fight win streak with three of them being stops. The former mma veteran is very well rounded with obvious one punch power. He throws combinations with conviction and if an opponent tries to close the distance, he is more than happy to work from the clinch.
It's hard to get a read on Larrimore as the guy has barely spent any time in the squared circle, 83 seconds to be exact. However, it's not hard to see the aggressive nature of the undefeated prospect. A southpaw who’s not afraid to take damage to land some of his own. With great speed to pair with his come forward style, the speed early in the fight could be his ticket to a win. Richardson struggled with the fast hands of Blas and was unable to get going, ultimately getting stopped in one round.
The co-main will see the returning Joe Elmore (2-3, 1 KO) look to snap his three-fight losing streak when he faces Derrick Findley (1-2, 1 KO). Elmore has been out of competition for nearly a year, and is hoping the time off will help him return to his winning ways. Findley picked up his first win earlier this year, when he knocked out Sergio Lopez in the main event of a prospect series card.
Former UFC fighter Nate Maness makes his bare knuckle debut following his 5-2 stint in the octagon. He will be facing fellow debutant Nick Burgos who enters bare knuckle winning eight of his last 11 MMA fights prior to the discipline switch.
The rest of the main card will feature:
Joseph Creer (2-2, 2 KO), will look for his second win of 2024 when he faces David Simpson (2-3, 2 KO), who's also looking for win number two on the year.
Debuting Dexter Carthon faces Joe Ray (1-0, 1 KO) in a heavyweight tilt.
Nathan Rivera (2-0, 2 KO) is looking for his third win in 13 months when he faces Jason Street (1-1, 1 KO) who’s looking to bounce back from a loss to Justin Ibarolla.
Crystal Van Wyk (1-1) will look to get back in the win column after her loss earlier this year to Sarah Shell, when she welcomes Emma Murray to bare knuckle.
Featherweight Cole Ferrell (1-0, 1 KO) faces Justin Watson (0-2) who is still looking for his first win in bare knuckle.
Former pro boxer Alex Davis (1-0, 1 KO) faces newcomer Braxton Smith who last competed in the UFC.
The prelims will feature:
Samuel Samples (1-1, 1 KO) vs. Micah Livingston (0-2)
Louis Brewington (Debut) vs. Daniel Cooper (1-0, 1 KO)
Josh Marer (0-4) vs. Kenny Hill (Debut)
Harrison Aiken (2-3) vs. Idrees Wasi (1-3, 1 KO)
