ROBBIE PERALTA VS. RUBEN WARR PREVIEW: BKFC FN

Two combat sports veterans square off in the main event of BKFC FN Pechanga.

Robbie Peralta vs. Ruben Warr

On Friday July 12th in Temecula, California, USA, BKFC Fight Night Pechanga, will see two combat sports veterans throw down in the main event to cap off a card that will see the debut of several new fighters sure to build perfectly into our night’s finale.

On one side we have Robbie “Problems” Peralta (3-1), a former UFC fighter with experience in Bellator and Strikeforce as well. He is looking to get back in the win column after suffering his first bare knuckle defeat earlier this year at the hands of Bryce Henry. “Problems” started off his bare knuckle tenure with three straight wins and despite having what has been called “deceptive power” through his MMA career, he has taken a more calculated approach in bare knuckle with all three wins coming by decision.

Across the squared circle stands Ruben “Bad Boy” Warr (1-1, 1 KO) who had an emphatic debut back in March of 2024, stopping Lorenzo Coca in the first round. He would return at KnuckleMania IV to face the undefeated Andrew Angelcor and after a spirited five rounds, would drop a split decision. Warr carries explosive power in his hands evident by his debut knockout and the war (no pun intended) with Angelcor at KM 4. Meaning both men will be eager to put on a show and get their careers back on track and work towards a shot at the lightweight title.

Another added bonus is that this is the first main event for both athletes in their bare knuckle careers. While Peralta is the more established name in bare knuckle, co main eventing in his two fights previous to this one, Warr is aware of what Peralta brings to the squared circle stating, “Robbie is an OG, a gamer, but I’m a different type of dog.”

Peralta does his best work moving forward with pressure and throwing combinations. In his lone loss to Henry, he struggled at range but was able to find some success while forcing Henry to move backwards. Warr has made vast improvement in his boxing since the beginning of his MMA career where he was primarily a wrestler. A strong overhand right and stiff jab cause all kinds of problems for opponents at range. And when the fight is in the clinch Warr is usually able to have his way either breaking free or engaging in clinch strikes.

For a fight night filled with wildcards, there is one thing for certain. We’ve got one heck of a main event Peralta vs. Warr will be can't miss action.
