With 2024 underway, here are the biggest KOs from BKFC in 2023.
10: Howard David vs. Jeff Chiffens, BKFC 49
In his third fight of 2023, Howard Davis made short work of Jeff Chiffens, dropping him midway through the first round with an uppercut right on the button. It might not be the most brutal one on this list, but he gets points for getting the job done in just 72 seconds.
9: Kaleb Harris vs. Brad Kelly, BKFC 36
Kaleb Harris absolutely teed off on Brad Kelly, pummeling him with shot after shot before finally ending the bout just 39 seconds after it started. This was easily one of the most dominant performances of the year.
8: Dorian Long vs. Mark Johnson, BKFC 44
Dorian Long made the most of his BKFC debut, knocking out Mark Johnson with only one second remaining in the second round. Having already dealt some damage previously, all it took was a quick left hook to hit the buzzer beater.
7: Trevor Loken vs. Marcus Brimage, BKFC 35
Just 40 seconds into his BKFC debut, after landing a fury of punches on Marcus Brimage, Trevor Loken dropped him with a hard right hand. Upon landing, Braimage’s head bounced off the mat in almost cartoonish fashion, and gave Loken the win.
6: Matt Russo vs. Jaymes Hyder, BKFC 49
“Rambo” Russo was all over Jaymes Hyder from the opening bell and needed only a minute to land a clean right hook and send him to the mat. It would be an understatement to say he made this one look easy.
5: Erick Lozano vs. Francesco Ricchi, BKFC 38
After taking a few shots himself, Erick Lozano sent a mammoth right hand to Francesco Ricchi’s head for a first-round KO. You would be hard-pressed to find someone land a
cleaner punch in 2023 than Lozano did here.
4: Michael Larrimore vs. Daniel Gary, BKFC 47
Despite not being on the main card, Michael Larrimore stole the show at BKFC 47, sending Daniel Gary to the floor with a beautiful counter left hand less than 30 seconds into the bout. The sound of Larrimore’s fist connecting with Gary’s cheek alone earns it a spot on this list.
3: Josh Watson vs. Greg Hardy Jr, KnuckleMania 3
After a huge gash on his eyebrow almost forced a doctor’s stoppage, Josh Watson knew he needed to end the fight as fast as possible, and did just that, knocking out Greg Hardy Jr mere seconds into the second round. They say the bigger they are the harder they fall, and that was certainly the case here as Watson sent the near 300-pounder down with a thud.
2: Brandon Allen vs. Trevor Loken, BKFC 42
Brandon Allen countered everything Trevor Loken sent his way before getting a first-round KO with a mean left hand. Allen looked completely unfazed the whole match, and before you knew it, Loken was lying flat on his back looking stiff as a board.
1: Lorenzo Hunt vs. Mike Richman, KnuckleMania 3
After getting knocked down himself just seconds earlier, Lorenzo Hunt took advantage of an aggressive Mike Richman, dropping him with one of the hardest punches you’ll ever see. Doing this in the main event of KnuckleMania with his light heavyweight belt on the line was impressive enough, but it’s the image of Richman on the ground knocked silly and completely unable to move that gets this one the top spot.
